The Nassau County Retired Educators Association cordially invites all retired educators to the April meeting in the Community Room at the Fernandina Beach Police Station on Lime Street.  The Executive Committee will be meeting at 9:30 A. M. followed by the general meeting at 10:00 A. M. Master Gardener Ginny Grupe will conduct a Landscape Matters class on butterfly gardening.  The session will take place at the UF/IFAS Nassau County Demonstration Garden.  Ginny will discuss important factors in planning your butterfly garden, including host plants, nectar plants, the different stages in the life cycle of butterflies and more!  Demonstration Garden plants that are butterfly attractors will be pointed out.  Class is free and open to the public.  For more information, see the Extension website at:

On April 21, Becky Jordi, Nassau County Horticulture Extension Agent will conduct a Plant Clinic from 10 am until 2pm at the Yulee Extension Office (A1A and Pages Dairy Road).  All County residents are invited to bring plant samples showing problems in their landscapes.
