Same old football tale is starting to get old

Has anyone ever watched a boxing match where one of the guys is just getting abused? Punch after punch to the head and body and the guy just stands in there and takes it. That would probably best describe the way I feel writing these articles. I bounce around trying to make jabs, but for three years it has been pretty brutal. I do not know if it is because I am so darn stubborn or just stupid.

However, we were beat by a hack. We had no offense, no defense, and no real answer to Florida. Who really cares in a year when Kansas and Missouri are two of the top teams at the end of the season?

Drew Weatherford continues to not make mistakes; the only problem is, he is not making any great plays either. "Stagnant" would be the best word for our offense. We did manage a huge 60-yard field goal or we would have lost by even more than we did.

I made the statement to my family at Thanksgiving that you would be able to see in the first five minutes which team was going to win. FSU showed promise, but I was correct because there was no sign of life from the FSU bench. No heart, no desire. I know that we are not playing for a championship, but it is Florida.

Has it been that long since I graduated that we have just given up? We use to despise the thought of Florida and Spurrier. UF boosters would mail my roommate Jason Whitaker Christmas cards that were not very Christ-like. Now, we just seem to be in a friendly scrimmage. Oh well, there is little I can do about it. Congrats guys, looks like we will be home for Christmas. Have fun in San Fran or where ever we end up.

There is no need to talk about the Heisman or attempt to make my points seeing how most of the "drive-by media" has already filled out their ballots. Yes, Tim Tebow is an exceptional player and yes, you should leave him in the game when you are up by 26. You should also run him, that way you will get all of the good out of him and leave him with no professional career. Is there not a missionary trip to Afghanistan he needs to go on?

Eric, congrats again. I am sure you will post the score several times, make some more cries for Tebow for Heisman, but you were supposed to win. Also, remember this does not improve whichever of the "do not matter" bowls you will end up in. I do not think I could have stomached another UF championship of any kind. One final question: If Tebow is so great and you will be preseason No. 1, what if he gets hurt?

So the regular season is in the books. We finished bowl eligible, hooray.

Do I have enough to keep going through another possible year of ups and downs? You better believe it.

Spoken like a true loser who has never been taught the value of sportsmanship. Very sad, but I will enjoy calling you out every time FSU loses next year, which will be often.
