Westside Republican Club News

October 20 and 21 six club members joined 3000 plus other Republican activists in Orlando for Presidency IV and the live Republican Presidential debate.  It was an exciting and informative weekend.  Information and literature received at the convention is available at the Nassau Republican Party Satellite office in Hilliard.

The Club also hosted a booth at the NE Florida Fair sponsored by the Nassau County Republican Party.  Helium balloons were available for the little ones, carnival prizes for the older ones, and lots of literature from the Republican Presidential candidates. Two (2) $50 gift cards from Walmart (1)  and Winn Dixie (1) were given away at a free drawing.  Winners were Cami Carter of Hilliard (Winn Dixie)  and Justin Johnson of Callahan (Walmart).  Entrants did not have to be present to win but they had to complete a survey about the upcoming January 29 constitutional amendment and Presidential primary. Over 150 survey questionnaires were completed.A membership drive was conducted.  Voter registration and party change affiliation forms were available.  The Nassau County Republican Party is still looking for precinct workers for the Westside precincts.  For more information about the Club or becoming a precinct worker, call the Westside GOP Satellite Office at 845-6910.
