The Horse Industy is getting to be only a Rich mans hobby and sport.  I see the numbers declining, and the price of owning a horse sky rocketing.  The horse was the way we used to travel and farm.  Now this animal is more of a hobby animal and used for pleasure.   It is not the price of the horse, it is the cost of daily quality of life for them,  hay, feed, vet, farrier service, stall bedding etc.

 The prices of Hay, Grain, and Gas have made doing anything as simple as hauling the horse trailer to the state park or beach very costly.
